Robert Nuovo is a composer and guitarist in New York City. No stranger to the music scene, Rob has been performing and composing in the Northeastern United States for several decades. He’s received accolades for playing “with purpose in every note” and for his “natural musical intuition for phrasing.” Praised for his brilliant ear and creative melodies, he’s built a strong presence by performing at NYC’s jazz hot-spots as a guest artist with ensembles as well as a soloist, premiering many original compositions – including The Bitter End (regularly), Zebulon, Spike Hill, The Jazz Bakery, The Fire Place, The Bedford Fusion Café and The Rabbit Hole. Rob is currently part of Moran/Nuovo, a duo with international soprano/vocal artist Elizabeth Moran. This exciting and unique collaboration blends their jazz and operatic backgrounds to present soulful and diverse interpretations of jazz, classical standards, international music as well as original compositions. They perform regularly in NYC and the Northeast. Listen
